"I met Ruth-Ann by chance when I went to get my nails done and what made me approach her was an amazing copper crocheted cuff bracelet. I love unusual jewelry so that cuff really caught my attention. When I found out that she made it, I was even more intrigued as I am always looking for new jewelry to add to my collection.

It just so happened that my Christmas outfit that year incorporated colours of wine, chocolate and black for which I thought the copper would blend beautifully. I gave Ruth-Ann a call and we talked about what me in general as she sought to garner who I was and what I liked, before she made the piece and I found it so very important to me that she listened. She also asked to see the outfit so that she would have an idea of what she was working toward. I eventually got a full set – cuff bracelet, necklace, earrings and to my surprise, a watch (I provided the watch face).

I was bowled over with the entire look, the service, the attention and the complete package which catered to who I am and what I like. Ruth-ann also continues to re-invent her skills and approaches to her jewelry making and I love that constant change as there is always something new to see.
